Membership Registration

To sign up for your membership, please complete the form found HERE. If your membership requires admin approval please allow 48 business hours for approval or to hear back from one of our associates.

We offer a variety of membership categories. See below for membership categories.

AU Summer Student Info

If you are enrolled this summer:

  • As it is in the fall and spring semesters, the student membership type that you are eligible for is dependent on the number of credits you are enrolled for on campus.
  • If you are currently registered for at least 5 combined on-campus credits for all summer sessions, you will continue to be eligible for a “Student of AU (5+ Credits)” membership at no out-of-pocket cost, as it will already be covered in your student fees. Use your Andrews University credentials to log in and request this membership if you do not have one already.
  • If you are enrolled in 1–4 credits, or “0 credits” in the case of doctoral students, you will be eligible for a “Student of AU (Less Than 5 Credits)” membership, at the discounted student rate of $20/month. Use your Andrews University credentials to log in and request this membership if you do not have one already. *If you fall into this category AND are living in a residence hall this summer, you are eligible for a membership at no "out of pocket" cost, as health club membership is included in your rent. Please email thewellnessclub@sophieboon.com to request this special membership. Please include your name, ID number and the building you reside in.
  • If you are enrolled in a program that is generally considered remote, or are taking a summer intensive, you will not be charged the student fees that covers membership. However, you are eligible for a “Student of AU (Non Campus)” membership at the discounted student rate of $20/month. You will NOT be able to request this membership with your Andrews University credentials. Please create a user account with a non-Andrews email address.

If you are NOT enrolled this summer:

  • If you are enrolled for fall semester but will not be taking classes over the summer, you are eligible for a “Student of AU (Non Campus)” membership at the discounted student rate of $20/month. You will NOT be able to request this membership with your Andrews University credentials. Please create a user account with a non-Andrews email address.
  • Those living in Lamson Hall, Meier Hall or University Towers this summer—whether you are enrolled or not—are eligible for a membership at no cost to you, as the cost of health club membership is included in your rent. Please email thewellnessclub@sophieboon.com to request this special membership. Please include your name, ID number and the building you reside in.
     

Senior Winter Walking Pass (WINTER MONTHS ONLY)

Our Senior Winter Walking Pass is available Nov 1-Mar 31. Seniors 65+ can enjoy use of our indoor walking track for free, and afterwards, receive a free month of full membership if they sign up by April 30. To request a Senior Winter Walking Pass, or learn more, click HERE and search for "Winter", email thewellnessclub@sophieboon.com, or call 269-471-6091. This pass does not include use of the pool, Healing Oasis, or fitness floors.

Andrews University Students

Andrews University students must also register for their membership by coming to the reception desk in the lobby of the Andreasen Center for Wellness. Depending on enrollment status, student membership may be included in the tuition package or student may be able to directly obtain the membership at the discounted student rate. Eligible add-ons can be added to all primary memberships, except parents or legal guardians cannot be added as add-ons to student memberships.

 

Andrews University Employees

Andrews University Employees must also register for their membership by coming to the reception desk in the lobby of the Andreasen Center for Wellness. Depending on employment status, membership may be included in your benefit package or may be available at the discounted rate. To request your employee membership, please click here.

Andrews University Professor Emeriti and Retired Employees with 20+ years of service at AU

Those with professor emeritus status at Andrews University, or retired employes of Andrews University with at least 20 years of service may  receive a membership  at no cost. To request your qualifying membership, please click here.

 

Membership Pauses

Active members may request an account pause for a minimum of one month. A fee of $10 per month will be applied to all monthly memberships when paused. Those with annual memberships may request up to a 4 month pause to their account at no charge. Additional months will incur the $10/month fee. No pause fees will be applied for child and youth memberships.
